Personal Motivation_
As kids we didn’t really plan on making a career in fields that we landed ourselves in. Some of us had fantasies of becoming musicians , dancers, actors or performers. Well, I shared a dream with my dad of becoming a singer and I did go for classes, perform in front of small crowds but I don’t even remember when I stopped. There is so much hidden artistic talent in the world but very few who really make something out of it. I took this project as an opportunity to question myself and people similar to me of what really makes us stop trying?
Challenge_
After talking to many musicians and music enthusiasts, I learned that there is something common between most of them which causes this lack of motivation. It is the lack of support, the inability to share their interests with people and mostly the lack of appreciation by an audience. What would artists feel when they spend 3 months producing a song and barely end up with 30 views or likes ? Their talent needs more recognition.
Solution_
Stage, a platform for encouraging amateur musicians to grow by collaborating with people of similar likings, seeing personal growth over a period of time and getting feedback from other artists before the publishing their compositions in the real world.
