The Brief_
To create a new light mobility for commuting to short distances for the 2021 market.
The Team_
1 Goal, 3 Months, 6 People - Unlimited Opportunities
Light Mobility_
Light mobilities are lightweight vehicles operating at speeds typically below 25 km/h and driven by users personally. We chose to focus on outdoors and very light mobilities.

Trial and Error_
Got a chance to work in the Decathlon, Lille workshop. We tried validating each detailed concept and see how wheels would work with our designs by making functional prototypes.
1 out of 3 Concept Stories_
We conceptualised 3 concept scenarios and focused on the one which answered to our brief the most.
Concept taken forward
Function and form_
We further developed the chosen concept and detailed out the function and the form.
Lucid_
Lucid is a roller quad frame that allows you to switch between walking and riding without hassle.
Easy wear_
Now, you will be ready to ride in no time.
Slide shoes in
Lock with back clip
Easy maneuvering_
Easily ride and stop by using the breaks in the front.
Minimised gestures_
Wear and remove easily without being obliged to sit.
Not in use_
The back clip helps to block the wheel from moving when Lucid is not in use and the packaging helps carrying it from one place to another.
Block the wheels
Packaging covers the exposed wheels
Finishing_
We made two cmf finishes, one to portray 'Pop' for someone who wants to stand out in a crowd and the other 'sober', for an elegant rider.
Prototype testing_
We made a working prototype to understanding the use and test it with an expert roller skater.
